In El Rosario, authorities are actively combating graffiti vandals, having identified 135 "artists" and launched an investigation to prevent further instances of damage to city property.

The city of El Rosario has taken on graffiti artists. The city council has already identified 135 "artists" who are defacing walls. Protocols on violations have already been drawn up for the two most active ones. This became possible thanks to a project to control vandalism graffiti, which was launched a little over two months ago.

How does it work? Orión Analistas SL, together with the environmental department of the local police, created a database of all graffiti. They determine which of them cause the most damage and try to find those who draw them.

Several investigations are currently underway that may help identify even more vandals who have been defacing the city in recent years.

The goal of the program is not only to punish, but also to prevent new cases of vandalism. The authorities want to accurately identify the authors of the graffiti and prepare expert reports for the court.

To do this, the company collects all graffiti reports from police archives and compares them with new drawings. This helps to identify who is drawing and to press charges.

In addition, a "portrait" of each graffiti is compiled so that everyone who defaces the city can be punished.

And to prevent vandalism in the future, the environmental department of the police conducts lectures in schools. Children are told about the consequences of vandalism and how important it is to draw in permitted places where it is safe and legal.
