In La Orotava, Tenerife, an accident occurred where a car ran off the road. The 44-year-old driver sustained injuries, but fortunately, they were not very serious. This was reported by the 112 emergency service in the Canary Islands.
It happened on Sunday on the TF-21 highway, around the 20th kilometer. Paramedics immediately arrived at the scene. They examined the man and took him to Hospiten Bellevue hospital.
Rescuers had to extract the driver from the wrecked car. Road workers were also on site clearing debris, and the police were investigating the circumstances of the accident.
