In Tenerife, a man fell off a cliff: rescuers evacuated him by jet ski
On the beach of La Tejita in Tenerife, a 32-year-old man fell from the Montaña Roja cliff, he was evacuated by jet ski and taken to the hospital.
On Thursday, near La Tejita beach in Granadilla, a 32-year-old man fell from the Montaña Roja cliff and sustained injuries.
It happened after three in the afternoon. The 112 emergency service received a call that a man had accidentally fallen from a cliff on the beach.
Due to the difficult terrain, rescuers needed a Helimer helicopter. However, it was unable to land due to bad weather.
Therefore, firefighters from Tenerife, together with the Red Cross, reached the victim on a jet ski and took him to the shore.
There, paramedics provided the man with first aid, stabilized his condition, and took him to the Candelaria Hospital.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and assisted the rescuers.
