In Kahnawake, a 34-year-old repeat offender was arrested on suspicion of a series of thefts, forgery, and traffic violations after attempting to flee from the police.

In Tyendinaga, police arrested a 34-year-old local resident. He is suspected of a series of home burglaries, two shop burglaries, property theft, forgery, and traffic violations.

It all started when a person contacted the police and reported the theft of tools and horse care equipment. Then, statements were received from two stores from which money was stolen and property was damaged.

Police investigated and found that the same person was involved in all three crimes.

When the suspect was seen driving a car, he was ordered to stop. But he tried to escape at high speed. Later, the car was found abandoned.

A few days later, thanks to increased patrols, the man was found again and detained.

It is known that he had previously had problems with the law for similar crimes. The detainee was handed over to the court along with the case materials.
