A man drowned on a beach in Tenerife.
On the Las Teresitas beach in Tenerife, lifeguards pulled a dead man from the sea who could not be resuscitated.
On Wednesday morning, a tragedy occurred on Las Teresitas beach in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A man was pulled from the sea without any signs of life.
Beach lifeguards pulled the man from the water and immediately began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This was reported to the 1-1-2 Canary Islands emergency service.
An ambulance, local and national police urgently arrived at the scene.
Paramedics tried to save the man, but unfortunately, he died.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the tragedy and guarding the scene until investigators arrive.
