In Tenerife, firefighters rescued a horse that had fallen into a ravine, extinguished a burning car, and dealt with the aftermath of a traffic accident involving three vehicles.

In Tenerife, in the town of La Laguna, firefighters yesterday rescued a horse that had fallen into a ravine. The animal ended up at a depth of about 15 meters and suffered minor scratches.

According to rescuers, they had to clear a path to the horse down the slope using hoes and chainsaws. Local residents also helped, and together they pulled the animal to safety. There, the horse was examined by a veterinarian.

This was the most interesting call for the Tenerife firefighters yesterday, August 28. In addition, as they reported on their Twitter (X), their colleagues from San Miguel de Abona put out a car fire in Adeje, on Galicia Street, in front of the highway exit, at around 2 p.m.

The fire started in the engine while the car was moving. Initially, the local police tried to extinguish the fire with fire extinguishers, and then the firefighters arrived and completely extinguished the fire.

Also yesterday, at about 12:40 p.m., rescuers from the Güímar park were called to a traffic accident involving three cars on the TF-1 highway near the Arafo industrial zone.

Upon arrival, they cordoned off the area, disconnected the batteries of the damaged cars, and removed debris from the road. Paramedics and the Civil Guard were also involved in this incident.
