A tourist with an ankle injury was rescued in Tenerife.
On Tenerife, a 45-year-old tourist injured her ankle after falling in the Cruz del Carmen area and was hospitalized following a rescue operation.
In Tenerife, in the Cruz del Carmen area (municipality of La Laguna), a 45-year-old tourist fell and was unable to walk on her own.
According to the 112 emergency service, the incident occurred around 11 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to help. They reached the woman and carried her to the parking lot, where an ambulance was waiting.
Medics examined the tourist and found that she had a moderate ankle injury. She was taken to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
The local and national police, as well as the Civil Guard, also participated in the rescue operation.
