On Saturday, a man had to be rescued by helicopter after falling near the Cherfe trail, near Santiago del Teide in Tenerife. This was reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. The 1-1-2 service received a report of the incident and immediately dispatched rescuers.
Rescuers in a helicopter quickly reached the victim, provided first aid, and took him to the helipad near the fire station in Adeje.
There, paramedics examined the tourist. He had moderate injuries, so he was taken to Hospiten Sur hospital.
