Tenerife: Series of fires and incidents in one day
In Tenerife, firefighters extinguished burning cars in Granadilla de Abona, a burning distribution box in La Orotava, a burning stubble field in San Isidro, and removed a damaged cornice in Santa Cruz within 24 hours.
Tenerife had a busy night. In Granadilla de Abona, a parked car caught fire, and the flames spread to two neighboring vehicles. Firefighters from San Miguel quickly responded to the call and extinguished the fire to prevent further damage.
In La Orotava, around ten in the evening, firefighters extinguished a distribution box on a lighting pole in the Benijos area.
Additionally, on Tuesday, around four in the afternoon, firefighters from San Miguel de Abona went to a field to extinguish stubble burning near the agricultural cooperative in San Isidro.
Lastly, in Santa Cruz, the local police requested firefighters to remove a piece of cornice that had broken off and could fall onto Avenida Asunción. This occurred around two in the afternoon.
In all these cases, local police officers were also present at the scene.
