In La Laguna, an abandoned building is on fire. Firefighters, medics, and police are working at the scene. No evacuation has taken place, and efforts are being made to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.
On Wednesday afternoon, an abandoned building caught fire in La Laguna, in the Las Chumberas area (Tenerife). Calls began coming in to 1-1-2 about the fire.
Firefighters from Tenerife are currently working there. An ambulance also arrived for safety. In addition, local and national police are working at the scene.
So far, no one has been injured and no evacuations have taken place. Rescuers are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses.
