An unpleasant incident occurred in Tenerife – a car caught fire in the middle of the North Highway, causing a major traffic jam towards Santa Cruz. This was reported by the 112 emergency service.
According to the 112 service on social network X (formerly Twitter), the incident happened around 12:30 PM near the town of Los Naranjeros in Tacoronte.
Firefighters arrived at the scene immediately and quickly extinguished the fire. Police officers and road workers were also present.
Although the fire was extinguished quickly, a significant traffic jam still formed. Witnesses say that the aftermath of the fire remained on the road and needed to be cleared to ensure safe traffic flow.
