Tenerife fire: woman hospitalized for smoke inhalation
In Puerto de la Cruz, a house fire led to the hospitalization of a 42-year-old woman who inhaled smoke.
On Sunday morning, a fire broke out in Puerto de la Cruz, on Juana de Tejera Street. A 42-year-old woman needed assistance, according to the 1-1-2 emergency service.
The call came in around 9 a.m., and rescuers immediately went to the scene.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which started in one of the rooms of the house. Medics provided assistance to the woman, who had inhaled some smoke.
An ambulance took her to Hospiten Bellevue Hospital. The police ensured safety at the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the fire.
