The 6Cuerdas International Festival concludes this weekend with a series of guitar performances blending jazz, bossa nova, and Ibero-American folk music across the Canary Islands, featuring artists like the Alex Janssen Trio, Alexander Sputh, Iván Rojas, and Pedro Martínez.

The 6Cuerdas International Festival is winding down, with five concerts showcasing the incredible skill and varied sounds of the guitar. You can catch performances blending jazz, bossa nova, and the folk music of Ibero-America across La Gomera, Lanzarote, La Palma, and Tenerife.

Tonight, Friday, the Alex Janssen Trio will be playing jazz at Bodegas Rubicón in La Geria at 7:00 PM. Tomorrow, Saturday, at 8:00 PM, Alexander Sputh will perform at the Casa del Conde Argual in Los Llanos de Aridane on La Palma.

Tenerife hosts the festival on Sunday at 8:00 PM with Iván Rojas in Tacoronte's Plaza de Santa Catalina. This Canarian guitarist and composer will share his project "Unspoken," a personal take on jazz classics arranged for guitar. His performance promises to be full of feeling and depth, reflecting his impressive career.

The festival concludes on Saturday, November 29th, in La Laguna, as part of the "La Noche en Blanco 2025" event. Paraguayan guitarist Pedro Martínez will perform at Casa Lercaro at 12:00 PM. His show, "Guitarra sudamericana," combines technical brilliance, his own compositions, and the rich musical heritage of South America. Martínez's concert celebrates the continent's diversity, weaving together tradition, classical music, and jazz in a performance that crosses boundaries.
