22GRADOS hosted its inaugural Welcome Carnival at Club Oliver in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, gathering over a hundred government and business leaders to foster public-private connections and celebrate the start of the Canary Islands' Carnival.

Club Oliver in Santa Cruz de Tenerife recently hosted over a hundred people from government and business for 22GRADOS' Welcome Carnival. This event aimed to build stronger connections between public and private sectors and celebrate the start of Carnival, one of the Canary Islands' most famous and eagerly awaited cultural events.

Organized by 22GRADOS, this was the first Welcome Carnival, with plans for it to become a key event in the Canary Islands' social calendar. More than just a single occasion, it's designed as a place for people to share ideas, connect, and celebrate the talent, creativity, and lifestyle of the islands.

Following this goal, the event aims to become a regular tradition, much like 22GRADOS' other successful events, such as Welcome Summer.

This event is part of a busy year for 22GRADOS in Tenerife. The company recently opened a new office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which has already hosted professional events like 'Mesas de 12' discussions, the launch of the Association of Professionals of Institutional Relations (APRI Canarias), after-work gatherings, and various workshops. Their presence on the island is also growing thanks to a recent contract from the Cabildo de Tenerife for media and advertising, and stronger ties with local businesses, organizations, and institutions.

Guests enjoyed a welcome cocktail, with a short break for speeches from 22GRADOS CEOs, Eladio Bombín and Diego Pajarón. They thanked the business community and public officials for their participation. Live music from La Palma's Andrea Rodríguez and a DJ playing Carnival tunes created a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging networking and the exchange of ideas.

The event was supported by several partners: Dorada Pilsen, the official beer; Ahembo, providing soft drinks and Schweppes cocktails; and Arehucas, sponsoring the themed cocktails.

Key attendees included Candelaria Delgado and Esther Monzón, the Canary Islands Government councillors for Social Welfare and Health; Krysten Martín, a councillor from the Cabildo de Tenerife; Carmen Pérez, CEO of the Development Society of Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council; Gustavo González de Vega and Ángel Sabroso, deputy councillors for Economy and Internationalization and for Physical Activity and Sport; and Elena González and Chon Guardiet from Canary Islands Tourism.

Other officials from departments such as Ecological Transition, Youth, Seniors and Participation, Equality, Youth, Childhood, and Families, and Administration of Centers, Schooling, and Complementary Services were also present. Many business leaders attended, including Jorge Escuder, president of ASINCA; Joaquín Ramírez, general director of Mutua Tinerfeña; and Leo Mansito, who promotes events like the Tenerife Music Festival.

Through initiatives like Welcome Carnival, which aims to be an ongoing tradition, 22GRADOS continues to boost cooperation between different sectors. By creating spaces for sharing ideas and experiences, the company helps showcase the talent, creativity, and unique identity of the Canary Islands.
