The National Geographic Institute (IGN) recorded an earthquake measuring 2.4 on the island of Tenerife this Friday, November 7.
According to the IGN, the tremor happened at 8:20 AM in Guía de Isora, 11 kilometers deep.
Earlier that morning, another earthquake occurred in the Canary Islands, though this one was at sea. This tremor took place at 5:27 AM near Fuerteventura and had a magnitude of 1.7.
