
18-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Tenerife Stabbing
Police are investigating a serious stabbing that left an 18-year-old hospitalized in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, early Monday morning.
Police in the south of Tenerife are actively investigating a violent incident that occurred early Monday morning. An 18-year-old was seriously injured and needed urgent medical attention.
The incident took place in a nightlife area of Playa de las Américas, in the municipality of Arona. Emergency and security services were called to the scene, according to the 112 emergency services.
Emergency services received the alert at 2:13 AM on February 16th, reporting that someone had been stabbed. The incident happened on Rafael Puig Lluvina Avenue. Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, emergency response protocols were immediately activated.
Paramedics from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) arrived with an ambulance. After an initial assessment, they confirmed the young man had a serious stab wound. He was stabilized at the scene before being taken to Hospiten Sur University Hospital for specialist treatment.
Police secured the area and began their investigation to determine what happened.
